Education
We firmly believe that an important part of the Christian manifesto is to see people develop 'in favour with God and men'. We believe also that these twin aims are interrelated and mutually supportive. Our thrust is therefore in these two areas, secular and spiritual education, and we endeavour in each area to present a strong relationship with the other.

We believe that in this way balanced, sustainable and genuine development is possible and where we can we endeavour to make such an education possible. Sound education practice, together with continuously revised curricula to provide education that is relevant in a fast changing world are the underpinnings of our practice.

We believe it is impossible for the church to fulfill its mandate without Christian education. The church's mission is clearly stated by its founder, Jesus Christ: "that you bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain". It is in the Great Commission, however, we are told how this is done: "Go into all the world and (empowered by the Holy Spirit), inform and educate so that your students develop to the place where they unconsciously and instinctively live as I have lived". Connections' passion for education is part of the essence of their commitment to Jesus Christ.

We are told also that ministries should study and be trained. "The things that I have told you, commit also to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also" and "study to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman needing not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

Our focus on both UK Education and Overseas Education is in keeping with the church's education mandate.
