Social Projects

The church exists as part of the community, and therefore has a responsibility to be 'salt and light' in our generation, showing the love and compassion of Christ in a tangible way. The community in which we live and work presents us with multi-faceted needs; spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and social. The church has the capacity not only to identify these needs, but should take relevant steps and actions to help individuals and groups, as resources allow.

Many churches within our network undertake their own Social Action programmes which we can tap into as necessary. These include Marriage and Family Life Counselling, Feeding Programmes, Nurseries, Programmes to promote the social and spiritual development of students in schools.

Some of these specific ministries are:

Drug Rehabilitation Situated at Willowdene Farm in the Midlands, this centre provides a powerful solution to the problem of drug dependency. To see more information on this click here.
Muslim Outreach An opportunity for the Christian church to love and reach people from Islamic nations with the gospel of the Kingdom.
Prison Ministry Networking with Prison Ministries Fellowship and Prison Prayer Fellowship to provide Alpha Courses and Bible Studies for prisoners. To see more information on this click here.
