Philip was the founder of the Connections network. He had a burden to reach the nations, especially the unreached and unevangelised, and was involved in church planting, pioneer evangelism, training workers and social action programmes for over 40 years.

 Born in Guyana, at the age of 15 Philip became the only Christian in his Hindu village. After 8 years in England as a missionary in the 50's and 60's, he returned to his homeland and for 19 years pioneered in evangelism and church planting throughout Guyana and the Caribbean, establishing over 100 churches.

Philip returned to the UK in 1983 and in addition to establishing the Connections network, he also had a ministry of reconciliation in the wider body of Christ. He is the founder of the African and Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA) and a Vice President of the Evangelical Alliance.

A member of the apostolic company of the International Christian Leadership Connections (ICLC) network, Philip was the father of the work and gave oversight and input to leaders in many nations. His vision was to see radical New Testament Pattern Church in action; to see complementary teams function at regional, national and international levels and to see the church rise to a new level of apostolic order and authority.

Philip was married to Muriel for over 45 years and in that time had six daughters and eight grandchildren. Until his promotion to glory, he was based in both Brixton, London and Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA. He was the author of several books, which can be found in the book section of this site.

Throughout his life he longed to experience a greater release of the supernatural in signs and wonders and a greater, more powerful, manifest presence of Jesus in every aspect of church life.
